Most people do not know where to take out the construction waste left after repair. Therefore, mountains of sacks with stucco and bricks appear on the territory of the house, which give cause for dissatisfaction with other residents and utilities.
What rubbish can be thrown into a container in the yard?
Garbage cans installed in yards are designed for oversized household waste. You can throw out everything that does not pose a danger to people and nature, and also has a small size:
- worn clothes and shoes;
- leftovers;
- packaging from various consumer goods;
- unnecessary books, newspapers and magazines;
- dishes;
- small household items.
It is strictly forbidden to throw in containers or garbage chute:
- broken thermometers and any devices used to collect mercury;
- vaccines;
- syringes and droppers;
- batteries and accumulators;
- energy-saving lamps.
The items listed above must be disposed of. For example, special boxes for lamps and batteries are often located near the entrance to the supermarket.
Household appliances, furniture, construction debris, car parts (including tires) must not be taken out and left near containers.
Organizations serving residents of apartment buildings are only responsible for the removal of municipal solid waste and do not have machines for transporting bulky items.
Is there a fine for construction waste?
If you throw away old wallpaper or a small bag with crumbling plaster into the container, there will be no problems: the garbage that was formed during the renovation of residential premises is considered to be household. But floorboards, bricks, window frames, doors and other remnants from major repairs - this is construction waste, and for its discharge in an inappropriate place you can get a fine from the administrative-territorial commission. Ordinary citizens will be forced to pay 2,000 rubles to the treasury, 5,000 for officials, and up to 100,000 for enterprises.
Who should take out the remnants of materials after repair?
The Russians are obliged to take out any bulky garbage - including construction waste - on their own. However, you should not drag him into the forest or to the nearest ravine under cover of night - sooner or later an illegal dump will be discovered, and those who are involved in its appearance will incur administrative responsibility. There are civilized methods of disposing of the waste left after repairing an apartment.
Where to throw boards, brick, old plaster and so on?
In addition to the already mentioned wallpaper in the container in the yard is allowed to throw away the remains of varnish and paints. If the city does not have an organization that collects toxic waste, this will be entirely justified. But first you have to mix the liquid with sawdust or cat litter, wait until it is absorbed, put everything in a dense plastic bag and only then send it to the tank.
With the rest of the trash, you can do this:
- Hire a vehicle and take garbage to the industrial site of a regional solid municipal waste operator (in other words, to a city landfill). It is not free. In addition to renting a car, you also have to pay the cost of garbage disposal - an average of 700 rubles per ton. However, not everyone accepts waste from private individuals, so before proceeding with the implementation of this venture, it does not hurt to find out the rules of the local special plant.
- Contact a company that provides services for the removal of construction waste. In this case, packing, removal and loading of waste is carried out by loaders. Where to put stuff, they will also figure it out themselves. Nothing is required from the customer except payment for the work performed.
- If the repair was done by a master from a construction company, you should carefully re-read the contract. As a rule, the performers are entrusted not only with cleaning the apartment of the remaining garbage, but also with its removal. However, even if such an item is not in the documents, employees will tell you where to go to solve the problem with minimal financial losses.
How to get rid of construction waste for free?
Having spent a lot of money on repairs, nobody wants to incur additional costs. Moreover, it is possible to take out construction waste from a summer residence or from an apartment for free.
If you had to break the house, then what is left of it is quite possible to sell. Used boards are bought for firewood, brick is used for its intended purpose - for the construction of sheds and cesspools, for the laying of stoves and fireplaces. Doors, windows, tiles or slate will also quickly find a new owner.
Another option is to agree with a nearby garage cooperative or gardening partnership. Often, such organizations need the remains of plaster and broken bricks - they fill the pits on the road with them.
There are no settlements where there is no place to take out construction waste. Before throwing it into a container near the house, you need to look at the announcements in the local press or talk with the community service staff - they probably know where the special waste site after the repair is located.
